Math foundations I need to refresh to read modern ML papers and code without friction.

What’s here

• linear-algebra/ — vectors, matrices, the four operations that show up everywhere.
• calculus/ — derivatives, chain rule, gradients. Just enough for backprop.
• tensors/ — multi-dim arrays in practice (PyTorch / NumPy).
• resources.md — books, video series, and references.

Approach

I’m not doing a from-scratch math bootcamp before touching ML. I’m refreshing topics on demand: when I hit a wall in foundations/ or courses/karpathy/, I come back here and rebuild that piece. This is a deliberate choice — see the motivation section in the top-level README.
